il 15/aprile dalle ore 10:00 alle ore 11:30, in collaborazione con i formatori dell’ASUE, ci sarà il primo degli incontri con il Dom-Gymnasium di Merseburg, scuola gemellata con il Liceo Joyce.
I successivi incontri, in videoconferenza con Meet ci saranno il 22/04 e il 29/04 con lo stesso orario. La classe coinvolta è la 3LC. La lingua veicolare sarà l’inglese.
Al primo incontro sono stati invitati i Sindaci di Merseburg e Genzano di Roma, città tra loro gemellate.
Contenuti degli incontri: oltre l’analisi della Dichiarazione Schuman e della sua importanza per la storia dell’integrazione europea, ci sarà una riflessione sul Manifesto di Ventotene di Altiero Spinelli e su cosa significa essere europee ed europei oggi.
L’attività si inserisce tra i PCTO e i CLIL di Educazione civica.
Giovedì 4 marzo la classe 5BL (dalle 9.10 alle 11.40) svolgerà il secondo incontro in presenza con una formatrice degli Archivi Storici dell’Unione Europea. Il laboratorio costituisce parte integrante del compito di realtà previsto all’interno della UDA interdisciplinare finalizzata all’insegnamento di Educazione Civica dal titolo “La ricerca come habitus mentale”.
Gli incontri costituiscono la fase formativa e preparatoria per l’allestimento, da parte degli alunni, di una mostra-laboratorio presso gli ambienti scolastici sul tema del processo di integrazione e costruzione dell’identità europea attraverso i materiali degli ASUE (immagini, documenti, materiali audio e video). Gli Archivi, in occasione dei 70 anni della Dichiarazione Schuman, hanno messo a disposizione di ogni istituzione scolastica interessata i materiali tradotti in diverse lingue relativi alla mostra “Europe and Europeans 1950>2020. 70th Anniversary of the Schuman Declaration”. 2020 marks the 70th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, a short but powerful statement made by the French Foreign Minister, Robert Schuman, on the 9th of May 1950. The declaration, drafted by Jean Monnet and pronounced by Schuman, initiated the process of European integration with its vision of a joint French and German coal and steel production.
The exhibition “Europe and Europeans 1950 – 2020: 70th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration”, curated by the Historical Archives of the European Union, sets out to raise awareness of the importance of the Schuman Declaration within the history of European integration, to stimulate reflection on its relevance in today’s Europe, and to encourage debate on the history of the European Union (EU) and its future. The visitor is encouraged to take a journey through European history, which develops into two distinct but inter-connecting paths.
The first path is guided by key sentences of the Declaration that give the title to five thematic sections. Through a selection of images and documents held in the Historical Archives of the European Union (HAEU), the visitor can experience some of the most relevant political, economic, social and cultural developments of the last 70 years of European history.
The second path allows for a meeting with people, as they were involved in or affected by the process of European integration, with a view to reflecting on what it means to be European in a dialogue between past and present. Finally, the whole exhibition is enriched by a multimedia section through different QR codes that refer to audio and/or video material that can be streamed to your mobile phone.
